Contact and Data Rights

One public contact address

GEMC2 uses one public contact address for all inquiries: [email protected]. You do not need to contact separate departments or separate email addresses.

To help route your message, use a subject such as Privacy Request, Account Deactivation, Security Report, Moderation Report, Copyright Notice, Legal Request, or General Inquiry.

Privacy and data rights

To request access to, correction of, cancellation/deletion of, or objection to the processing of your personal data, email [email protected]. Include your username, the right or action you are requesting, and enough detail to locate the relevant information.

We may ask for proportionate information to verify that you control the account or are authorized to act. Do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary and provide an appropriate method. Requests will be handled within the deadlines required by applicable law.

Account deactivation

Until a self-service option is available, request account deactivation by emailing us from the email address associated with your account. After verification, GEMC2's policy is to disable account access and revoke active sessions. The username will remain permanently reserved and will not be reassigned. Public posts, replies, and edit history may remain visible under the original username. See the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for the full retention policy.

Security reports

Describe the affected page or feature and the steps needed to reproduce the issue. Do not access other users' private information or exploit a vulnerability beyond what is reasonably necessary to demonstrate it. We will review reports as resources allow and in accordance with applicable legal obligations; no fixed response time is promised.

Moderation reports

Include the URL or username, identify the relevant content, and explain the concern. Reports are reviewed by the operator. A report may result in no action, content restriction/removal, or account restrictions depending on the circumstances.

Copyright notices

Include the location of the material, the right at issue, why you believe the use is unauthorized, and the contact and authority information described in the Copyright and DMCA Notices page.

Legal requests

Authorities should identify the issuing authority, legal basis, scope of the request, relevant account or content, and any deadline. GEMC2 reviews requests and responds as required or permitted by applicable law.

External complaints

If you believe your privacy rights have not been respected, you may contact the competent data-protection authority under the laws applicable to you. The appropriate authority and procedure depend on your jurisdiction and may change over time; consult current official government sources.
